Shark diving in Guadalupe Island is the most exiting adventure for both certified and non-certified divers since you won’t be using scuba tanks, instead, you will be breathing from surfaced supplied air. Guadalupe Island is located in the Pacific Ocean approximately 165 miles west of Ensenada, Mexico. Guadalupe Island has become the world’s best location for diving with great white sharks. This is one of the favorite expeditions of wildlife photographers and videographers from all around the world. The visibility in Guadalupe Island is often more than 100’ and the water temperature averages between 65F-70F. This 5 day expedition is a perfect adventure getaway, feel the adrenaline and discover why Guadalupe island is one of the best dive spots in the world. In Solmar V, we operate two 4-person cages using a proprietary swivel system which hooks to our swim platform making it very easy and safe to get in and out of our cages even in rough weather. We also pioneered submersible cages at Guadalupe Island and operate a 3-person submersible cage to 30 feet. Having only 20 passengers on board and three cages enables us to rotate 10 guests in and out every hour all day long making the best experience for white shark diving in Guadalupe and keeping it safe for both the great white sharks and our divers.
