ADULT SAILING The Calanova National Sailing School teaches the Adult Sailing course, and is the best choice for participants over 14 years of age. The Adult Sailing course is divided into two levels, giving you the possibility to start out or improve your technique, reaching a level where there is the option to compete. Choose the schedule that best suits you: Saturdays: from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays: from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Limited places! The groups will be made up of at least 4 participants. APLICATION FORM The Adult Sailing course is divided into two levels: BEGINNERS In the Beginners level, the student will learn the basic concepts of navigation, in order to start out in the world of sailing. The objective of this course is to: Learn the foundations of the world of sailing in order to be able to be alone at sea. Get to know the movements of reversal: tack and gybe. The basic maneuver to stop the boat. This course will take place in a collective boat with the participation of around 6 students with a monitor on board the vessel, having the possibility to take the helm. IMPROVEMENT At the Improvement level, students will be able to navigate boats without being monitored. The objective of this course is the assimilation of knowledge on sailing, as well as vocabulary and nautical maneuvers and learner autonomy for solo sailing. At the end of the course, students should be prepared to move to a race stage without problems.
