It is situated at the knees of Nainital and reaches part of the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. Jim Corbett Park, with a total area of 520.8 square kilometres, offers extensive topography of water resources, wetland pits, grasslands, sal tree hardwood forest landscape and a large lake around the Himalayas. The Ramganga River, which flows into Jim Corbett Park, is a lifeline of the park and provides waters throughout the year, attracting many migratory birds, wildlife and wild animals.
