Tide Tours - PADI Open Water Course
Description
We're fostering sustainable use and management of the area’s rich resources, from the peaks of the highest forest ridges to the coral reefs of the ocean floor.
In partnership with the Government of Belize, TIDE manages 3 protected areas within this stunning and diverse landscape: the Port Honduras Marine Reserve, Payne’s Creek National Park, and TIDE Private Protected Lands. Together, these areas form some of the most pristine habitat in the entire Meso-American Complex.
Our team of dedicated rangers, scientists, educators, and community stewards ensures that our four program areas are of the highest standards. Research and Monitoring guides policy and management action; Education and Outreach empowers local residents to be environmental stewards (and has won several awards for its Freshwater Cup football and environmental competition); Resource Management maintains the incredible diversity of life in the 3 protected areas; and our Community Development program supports the needs of the local people who are at the heart of our conservation efforts. Our pioneering initiatives bring people and nature together.
